PHOENIX — Leasing has begun for a new rental community in Peoria that brings 255 housing units to the West Valley.
Summerwell Peoria Place is the brainchild of Greystar, a real estate investor, developer and manager.
The build-for-rent community will help meet the Valley’s need for single-family housing, according to Greystar.
“Summerwell Peoria Place is already located in a vibrant neighborhood,” Greystar’s managing director for development, Billy Cundiff, said in a news release last week. “We are looking forward to seeing the community’s residents bring our vision to life.”
How big are residences in new rental community in Peoria?
Home sizes range from 1,078- to 1,744 square feet, according to Realtor.com.
There are two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans. They include smart home technology, stainless steel, undermount, single-basin kitchen sinks, a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dyer and energy-efficient kitchen appliances.
There are also one- and two-car garages wired for electric vehicles and fenced-in backyards in some of the home models.
Additionally, the community has a swimming pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, a putting green, a sports park and lawn, electric vehicle charging stations and Wi-Fi availability throughout.
Although some homes are available for immediate move-in, the entire development will be completed in Fall 2025.
Summerwell Peoria Place is part of Greystar’s master plan for Peoria, which consists of more than 500 apartments and build-for-rent homes, along with a 400,000-square-foot logistics space.
“We’ve crafted a neighborhood that fosters community and combines the luxury of single-family home privacy with the convenience of a rental property,” Cundiff said. “This best-of-all-worlds approach makes Summerwell Peoria Place a highly livable location.”
