Phoenix murder suspect arrested after dead body found in early September

PHOENIX — Phoenix police arrested a man accused of committing murder earlier this month, authorities announced on Friday.
Thomas Harvey, 34, was arrested in connection with the murder of 33-year-old William Michael Cain, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The murder took place the night of Sept. 9, police said.
Why Phoenix police arrested murder suspect
Authorities found Cain’s body in the area of 22nd and Fillmore streets, which is near Roosevelt Street and Interstate 10.
After the autopsy, detectives investigated the death as a homicide.
Authorities arrested Harvey on Thursday and booked him into jail on charges of second-degree murder.
No further details were released.
