PHOENIX – The alternative rock band, Weezer, will take over Chase Field when it headlines a music festival in November.
The inaugural November Nights music festival will be on Nov. 16 and will feature seven popular bands.
Sublime, Third Eye Blind, Rebelution, The Head and the Heart, Violet Femmes along with DJ Z-Trip & Friends will all play through the one-day festival.
“These bands collectively bring generations of music to the stage, offering something for everyone,” Derrick Hall, president and CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks, said in a press release. “Pairing that nostalgia with a beautiful November day and night under the stars is exactly the way to kickoff our first-ever November Nights and grow it into an event fans look forward to every year.”
People who follow Chase Field on social media will receive pre-sale access on Wednesday but tickets go on sale to the public on Friday at 10 a.m.
Tickets start at $40 and the concert will offer VIP packages that include drinks, festival merchandise, dedicated entry to the concert, along with exclusive bars and lounges.
All concert goers will have access to free transportation through the festival’s partnership with Valley Metro Rail. Those attending the concert can show their festival ticket as a valid light rail ticket for no additional cost to and from the ballpark.
