1 person dead after shooting at Phoenix house party

PHOENIX — A man has died after a shooting at a house party in Phoenix on Saturday morning, authorities said.
At 4:20 a.m., police were called to a house on North 48th Lane for a shooting call. Upon arrival, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
Humberto Ortiz, 33, was given medical attention but died at the scene.

After investigation, authorities determine Ortiz was shot by an unknown suspect who left the area prior to police arriving.
