Animal Crossing-themed aquarium attraction coming to Tempe this fall

PHOENIX — Animal Crossing: New Horizons National Aquarium Tour, an aquarium attraction based off the popular video game series, is coming to Tempe this fall.
The new attraction will be at the Sea Life Arizona Aquarium at Arizona Mills Mall, located on the southeast corner of US 60 and Interstate 10 from Oct. 4- Nov. 17, according to a news release.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the latest main entry in the series, released in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.
What will be at the new Animal Crossing attraction?
The new Animal Crossing attraction will include photo opportunities with characters from the game, cutouts of characters from the game, Nintendo kiosks where guests can check in to receive 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points that can be redeemed on my.nintendo.com for digital and physical rewards, merchandise and more.
There will also be meet-and-greet opportunities with characters from the game such as Isabelle, Tom Nook or K.K. Slider. The planned meet dates will be on:
- Oct. 4.
- Oct. 5.
- Oct. 26.
- Oct. 27
Photos come with the price of admission and will be offered each of these dates at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the conservation area.
How much are tickets and where can they be purchased?
Tickets for the attraction can be purchased online through the aquarium’s general admission passes for $18 a person. Passes can be purchased and booked in advance for $16.
Seal Life Aquarium is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Last entries into the facility are at 4 p.m.
