PHOENIX — The Arizona Science Center is offering free admission to all guests, regardless of age, on Saturday and Sunday.
The museum, located in downtown Phoenix near 7th Street and Washington Street, features more than 300 exhibits, hands-on activities, demonstrations and a five-story theater.
The free weekend however does not include admission into other add-on experiences, such as OceanXperience, VerticalVenture, Evans Family SkyCycle and CREATE Makerspace Pop Up Activities.
However, free parking validation is available for guests that park in the Heritage & Science Park Garage, situated on the southeast corner of 5th and Monroe streets.
“We are thrilled to partner with Fry’s Food Stores to offer this free weekend to our community,” The Hazel A. Hare President & CEO of Arizona Science Center Guy Labine said in a press release. “This collaboration allows us to make science accessible to everyone and encourage lifelong learning.”

Officials says large crowds are expected and guests may have to wait outside for up to 45 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to bring water and remain hydrated. Water stations and tents with shade will also be provided for guests that are waiting outside.
When is the Arizona Science Center open?
The Arizona Science Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Fry’s Free Weekend.
