Arizona Lottery partners with Circle K on fuel discount for Scratchers players

PHOENIX — The Arizona Lottery is partnering with Circle K on a special promotion that earns customers a discount on gas when they purchase a $10 Scratchers ticket.

Through July 2, buying the Scratchers ticket will earn a gas discount of 15 cents off per gallon (up to 25 gallons per transaction, one ticket per day). Customers must purchase the fuel in the same transaction to get the discount.

West Valley lottery player wins $50,000

One lucky lottery player won $50,000 playing the Powerball at a Peoria gas station on Wednesday.

The winning numbers were 8, 44, 45, 51 and 69 with a Powerball of 12. The winning ticket was sold at a QuikTrip near Happy Valley Road and 67th Avenue.

The next drawing is on Saturday with an estimated jackpot of $206 million.

To play, players select five white numbers and one red Powerball number for $2, with an optional additional dollar for Power Play, which can multiply winnings.

Drawings occur each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

As with all Arizona Lottery games, the winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
