PHOENIX — The Estrella development in Goodyear is hosting a grand opening of a new park on Nov. 4.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at West Verbana Drive and West Long Lake Road. A naming ceremony is set for 3 p.m. The event will include food trucks, relay races and games. Games at the party in the park include Giant Jenga, cornhole, a three-legged race and sack races.

The park features BBQ grills, picnic ramadas, two lush lawns and a shaded playground with a swing, slide, climbing structure and a pebble bridge stepping activity.
