PHOENIX — The Estrella development in Goodyear is hosting a grand opening of a new park on Nov. 4.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at West Verbana Drive and West Long Lake Road. A naming ceremony is set for 3 p.m. The event will include food trucks, relay races and games. Games at the party in the park include Giant Jenga, cornhole, a three-legged race and sack races.

The park features BBQ grills, picnic ramadas, two lush lawns and a shaded playground with a swing, slide, climbing structure and a pebble bridge stepping activity.

There will also be the opportunity for the public to meet Estrella homebuilders and to tour new models. People visiting can tour additional neighborhoods as well, with models open throughout.
