PHOENIX — A West Valley licensed massage therapist was arrested last week on suspicion of touching clients inappropriately, authorities said.
Christopher Esteen, 43, of Buckeye, was booked into jail Dec. 27 on one count of sexual assault and two counts of sexual abuse, according to court records.
The offenses allegedly occurred at Esteen’s place of employment in Goodyear. His employer removed him from his job before his arrest, according to the Goodyear Police Department.
Police said there are multiple known victims in the case, but they didn’t specify how many. Authorities also believe there could be additional victims.
According to the probable cause statement for Esteen’s arrest, police recorded a phone call between him and one of the victims.
Esteen allegedly admitted to wrongdoing while talking to the victim. When police played parts of the recording for Esteen after reading him his rights, he said he was “trying to give it to her” to get her to “walk it back,” according to the probable cause statement.
The investigation remains active.
Anybody who thinks they were a victim of Esteen was asked to call the Goodyear Police Department at 623-932-1220.
