PHOENIX — An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this year at a Phoenix house party, authorities said Monday.
Jacob Salinas was booked into Maricopa County Jail on multiple felony counts, including first-degree murder, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.
Salinas is accused of opening fire at a home near 59th Avenue and Thomas Road on May 29, striking six other teenagers.
One of the victims, 18-year-old Luis Torres, died of his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
The victims were all between 16 and 18 years old.
Police believe the shooting occurred after people who weren’t invited arrived at the party around 3:30 a.m. and were asked to leave.
No other information was immediately available.
