Torchy’s Tacos opens 3rd Valley location in Queen Creek

PHOENIX — Texas-inspired Torchy’s Tacos opened its third Valley location on Wednesday.
The new restaurant is located at Queen Creek Marketplace near Rittenhouse and Ellsworth roads.
The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Happy hours runs Mondays through Fridays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests can get $2 off margaritas and signature drinks and $1.50 off all bottled and draft beer.
Taco options include the chicken fajita, Baja shrimp, green chile pork and a handful of breakfast taco options.
There is also a range of chips and queso to choose from, as well as street corn and Torchy’s Mexican rice as sides and a burrito and salads for entrees.
Torchy’s also offers a taco of the month, donating a portion of the proceeds from each taco to causes like Make-A-Wish Foundation or addiction recovery at Phoenix House.
The taco for December is the Naughty Santa, which features chorizo, grilled shrimp, pickled onions, avocado and poblano sauce.
“Here at Torchy’s, we want to share the taco love this holiday season and invite all of our taco junkies, team members and guests to come try our mouthwatering Naughty Santa this December,” CEO Mike Rypka said in a press release.
Other locations are located in Phoenix near Camelback Road and State Route 51, and Tatum and Shea boulevards.
