Celebrate 50 years of Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade magic!

Since its first production in the early 1970s, the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe has been a staple of Valley traditions, bringing family fun and excitement to Downtown Phoenix.

Join thousands of guests on December 17th as the parade marks its 50th edition with an entirely new theme: “Legends Made Here.” This year’s parade pays tribute to the incredible legacies forged by emissaries of Arizona and the stories they’ve etched into pages of history.

Take, for instance, this year’s Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe Grand Marshal Al McCoy. After moving to the Valley from Iowa, he was named the “Voice of the Suns” in 1972—an appropriate title for his prowess as the Phoenix Suns announcer. McCoy has become synonymous with the team itself, bringing all-time Suns moments into the homes of fans across the state with his catchphrases like “Shazam!”, “Whammo” and “Wham Bam Slam”.

Come celebrate legends like Al McCoy and others in this magnificent display of pageantry as Arizona gears up for the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. A combination of more than 3,000 men, women, children and animals participate in the event annually, featuring brilliantly colored floats, giant  alloons, antique cars, charitable groups, local celebrities, marching bands, and more.

Admission is free to the public with premium and reserved seating now available for sale. The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will be broadcast live on Arizona’s Family 3TV, online and through the AZFamily app.
