Suspect arrested after fatal shooting in Phoenix apartment parking lot

PHOENIX – A suspect is in custody after a man was fatally shot outside a Phoenix apartment complex Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Officers responded to a shooting call at the complex’s parking lot near 41st Avenue and McDowell Road around 2 p.m., the Phoenix Police Department said.
They took David Gordon, 51, into custody when they arrived and found man with a gunshot wound inside a nearby vehicle.
Dariusz Swiader, 47, died of his injuries at the scene.
Gordon was booked into Maricopa County Jail on a second-degree murder count, police said.
No other details were made available.
