Free Fiesta Buzz bus route connecting popular Mesa districts is ready to roll

PHOENIX – Valley Metro’s Fiesta Buzz, a free circulator bus system that covers some of western Mesa’s most popular destinations, will debut Monday morning.
Fiesta Buzz will connect the Riverview, Asian and Fiesta districts and include service to the likes of Mesa Community College, Banner Desert Hospital, Mekong Plaza and Sloan Park.
The winding route goes from the Mesa Riverview shopping center to Alma School Road and Southern Avenue, with Dobson Road as the westernmost artery. It has 27 stops, 14 for the northbound buses and 13 for the southbound.
Fiesta Buzz buses will run every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to midnight Mondays-Fridays and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays, except holidays.
Travel time from one end to the other is about 25 minutes.
