PHOENIX — Sonora Quest will now offer blood draws through a curbside service for routine lab tests at five Arizona sites, the laboratory announced Wednesday.

Patients can visit the centers located in Tempe, Scottsdale, Sun Lakes, Bullhead City and Show Low, with more expected to launch soon, according to a press release.

The service allows patients to stay inside their vehicles as their sample is drawn for any routine lab test that requires a blood or saliva sample, the release said.

“This new offering comes at the perfect time when Arizonans are looking to gain fresh and proactive insight into their individual health,” Sonora Quest Chief Growth Officer Christina Noble said in the release.

“We realized our patients appreciated the carside COVID-19 testing option, so we knew we needed to expand this service to include more tests.”

Patients are required to make appointments online at Sonora Quest Laboratories for curbside testing.

Once the patient is in the designated area, a Sonora Quest team member will approach the vehicle with the sample collection materials and any required paperwork.
