I-10 Broadway Curve closure, shutdowns on I-17, Loop 303 to disrupt weekend drivers

PHOENIX — Another closure for work on the Interstate 10 Broadway Curve Project near Sky Harbor and shutdowns of Interstate 17 and Loop 303 in the north Valley will slow drivers this weekend, according to state transportation officials.
Westbound I-10 will be closed from U.S. 60 to State Route 143 near the Phoenix airport from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for Broadway Curve work.
The westbound U.S. 60 ramps to westbound I-10 and westbound I-10 on-ramps at Elliot, Baseline and Broadway roads will be closed during that time. So will the westbound U.S. 60 ramps at McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue.
Also, eastbound I-10 will be closed from State Route 143 and U.S. 60 from 10 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday for Broadway Curve work.

The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 40th Street and Broadway Road will be closed.
In north Phoenix, northbound I-17 will be closed from Union Hills Drive to Pinnacle Peak Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a pavement improvement project.
The northbound I-17 ramps at Thunderbird Road, Bell Road, Yorkshire Drive and Deer Valley Road will be closed.
Also, westbound Loop 303 will be closed from I-17 to Lake Pleasant Parkway from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for construction.
Finally, the northbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway will be narrowed to one lane each night in northwest Valley from Thunderbird Road to 75th Avenue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
