PHOENIX — Craft-your-own stir-fry restaurant YC’s Mongolian Grill is expanding its metro Phoenix presence with a new location in Scottsdale.

Slated to open Tuesday near Raintree Drive and the Loop 101 Pima Freeway, it will be the locally owned chain’s third Valley location.

The spot will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

YC’s Mongolian Grill is known for its build-your-own meals, where the customer selects from a variety of proteins, vegetables, noodles and rice, and sauces. The ingredients are cooked together on a flat-top grill.

The new shop replaces another YC’s in Scottsdale that closed in 2020 after facing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“After a tough few years of working through adversity during the pandemic and beyond, we are ready to open the doors to an all-new YC’s experience and reconnect with our Scottsdale customers,” owner Geoff Stanisic said in a press release.

YC’s also has Tempe and Gilbert locations.
