PHOENIX – Press Coffee is branching out in central Phoenix with its first location inside a Sprouts Farmers Market.
The Phoenix-based companies said Tuesday they are brewing up a pilot partnership at the Sprouts on Seventh Avenue and Osborn Road. The opening date is to be determined.
“Press and Sprouts have a shared mission of providing people fresh, quality, sustainable and ethically sourced specialty products,” Dave McGlinchey, Sprouts chief strategy officer, said in a press release. “We are proud to open our first pilot location in the Phoenix community for all to enjoy.”
Press will serve a full drink menu with specialty drip and cold brew coffees, shakers, and hot and iced teas from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The shop, which will also stock whole bean and ground coffee, will be set up in a section of the grocery store that includes a workplace area.
“Press is very excited about this location and serving the surrounding community,” Jason Kyle, Press co-owner, said in the release.
Press currently has 10 locations around the Valley, with another in the works at Scottsdale’s Axis Raintree complex. The small-batch roaster also sells beans online, including through subscriptions.
Sprouts, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has nearly 400 stores in 23 states.
