Taste of Italy and Music festival coming to Scottsdale waterfront Oct. 15-16

PHOENIX — For wine, panini and pizza fanatics in the Valley, a festival highlighting Italian culture is set to come next month.

Visitors are invited to attend the Taste of Italy and Music Festival, located at the Scottsdale Water Front on Camelback and Scottsdale roads, on Oct. 15-16.

Musicians scheduled to be in attendance include Angelo Torchia, Sahnas Brother, The Sicilian Band and Steve Ansel and The Jackson Street Band.

Food vendors vary from Aroma Culinary Catering and Costantinos to Gelato Dolce Vita and Mobile Pizza Oven Company.

The festival will begin at 11 a.m. on both days and end at 9 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

General admission into the event costs $10 for a limited time, increasing to $20 on the day of the event. Children 12 and under are free.

For those interested in VIP access, a $150 ticket includes food and alcoholic beverages, a private bar, private bathrooms and access to the entire festival area.

The event is presented by the Italian Association of Arizona and the city of Scottsdale.
