PHOENIX — Desert Ridge Marketplace announced its fall lineup of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences for visitors.

The north Phoenix shopping center hosts hundreds of family-friendly events, art festivals, live music and fitness classes each year.

Here is the list of the events taking place this fall:

Fine Art Fridays

This will take place every third Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Desert Ridge will partner with The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance for the event. Spectators can enjoy many local artists.

Yappy Hour Walk

The walk will happen on Sept. 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with proceeds going to The Arizona Humane Society. There will be live acoustic music, The Arizona Humane Society’s Cuddle Bunch Zone with pups available for adoption, a custom photo op and a chance explore the dog-friendly part of District. For every drink from Copper Blues Live’s outdoor bar at The District Stage, $1 will be donated to The Arizona Humane Society, according to a press release.

Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin patch starts Oct. 14 and runs till Oct. 30 with hours varying each day. The 4th annual Pumpkin Patch at The District will give fans the opportunity to pick pumpkins while supplies last, snap a seasonal shot with a retro photo backdrop, enjoy giveaways and more.

I Recycle Phoenix

The I Recycle Festival will take place on Oct. 15 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., partnered with Keep Phoenix Beautiful, the city of Phoenix and Desert Ridge Marketplace. They accept a variety of items that will be recycled to local nonprofit organizations including electronics, old magazines, gently used adult bicycles, sporting equipment, office supplies, lightly used household items, toys, document shredding, non-perishable foods, hygiene products and used clothing, according to the release.
