Man shot, killed by multiple suspects in Phoenix, police say

PHOENIX — A man was shot and killed by a group of unknown suspects at a Phoenix home Sunday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting near 91st Avenue and Indian School Road just before 4 a.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

When they arrived they learned a group of people came to the home, confronted the man and shot him, police said.

The man was later identified as 40-year-old Victor Garcia Jr., who later died from his injuries

The suspects left before the officers arrived.

No additional information was available and the investigation remains ongoing.
