19-year-old motorcyclist killed, another man injured in Phoenix traffic collision

PHOENIX — A 19-year-old man died and another was seriously injured following a traffic collision in Phoenix Saturday night, authorities said.
Officers received a call about a crash between a motorcycle and truck just before 8 p.m. near Central Avenue and Bell Road, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.
When they arrived, motorcyclist Leonordo Rios-Aguilar was dead from his injuries.
The driver of the truck, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that aren’t life-threatening, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
