PHOENIX — Rob Schneider’s latest movie filmed entirely in Arizona is launching exclusively at Harkins Theaters across the state next month.
“Daddy Daughter Trip” starring Schneider and Miranda Scarlett Schneider is set to reach 17 locations on Sept. 30, according to a press release.
The world premiere is schedule for Sept. 27 at Harkins Camelview at Fashion Square.
“My wife Patricia and I chose to make the great state of Arizona our home to raise our family not just for its incredible natural majesty and beauty, but also for all that it has to offer,” Schneider said in the release.
“Our company, Mandalini Films, is now based in Scottsdale and we are very proud to have made our film ‘Daddy Daughter Trip’ entirely here in Arizona. It’s truly a postcard for the state’s picturesque cinematic locations.”
The comedy is a live action film mixed with animation.
The movie is about a father who hits the road with his daughter for an event-filled spring break the family can’t afford.
Other actors starring in the film include Jackie Sandler, Monica Huarte and John Cleese, as well as singer-songwriter Elle King.
Various Arizona attractions will be spotted throughout the movie, including Butterfly Wonderland, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Park and Bearizona Wildlife Park.
