PHOENIX – A woman was stabbed in a Valley casino parking lot over the weekend and authorities said the suspect escaped in a white pickup truck.
The Gila River Police Department and FBI office in Phoenix said Monday a man got out of the truck on Wild Horse Pass Casino grounds in Chandler on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. and stabbed a 31-year-old Phoenix woman several times.
Authorities aren’t certain what the suspect used in the attack, which began after the woman was out of her vehicle at the Gila River Resorts & Casinos site near Interstate 10 south of Chandler Boulevard.
The unidentified victim was taken to a hospital, where she is recovering, the FBI said in a press release.
The truck doesn’t have license plates or a tailgate but there’s a grille guard, the rear window is heavily tinted and there’s damage to the right rear panel.
Anyone with information about the attack should call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or email tips and information to tips.fbi.gov.
