Silver Alert canceled after 83-year-old man found safe in Glendale

PHOENIX — Valley authorities canceled a Silver Alert on Thursday, several days after an 83-year-old man who went missing last week was found safe.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said James Waldon was located in Glendale on Saturday and taken to a hospital for evaluation.
He was reported missing Friday at about 5:30 a.m. by his son.
He’d last been seen in the area of 72nd and Acoma drives in Peoria at about 2 a.m.
He has memory issues due to brain surgery.
Waldon is 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
