Interstate 10 closure in East Valley among restrictions on metro Phoenix roadways

PHOENIX — The Broadway Curve Improvement Project will result in an expansive closure of Interstate 10 in the East Valley this weekend.
Eastbound I-10 is scheduled to be closed between the U.S. 60 Superstition Freeway and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for work zone preparation, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Also closed for the project are the eastbound I-10 on-ramps between Broadway and Ray roads, the westbound U.S. 60 ramp to eastbound I-10 and the HOV ramps between the U.S. 60 and I-10.
In Tempe, the Broadway Curve Improvement Project will close Broadway Road in both directions between 48th and 52nd streets from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
A stretch of I-10 EB in the Chandler area will be closed this weekend.

The I-10 connector ramp between 48th Street and Broadway Road, as well as the westbound I-10 off-ramp at Broadway Road, is also scheduled to be closed.
Also in Tempe, the northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway will be narrowed to three lanes between Chandler Boulevard and Warner Road from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for maintenance work.
The project will close the northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Chandler Boulevard, the on- and off-ramps at Ray Road and the off-ramp at Warner Road.
