PHOENIX – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office released video and photos from Tuesday’s unsolved armed robbery and shooting at a jewelry store in Anthem.

The surveillance camera images show two people dressed completely in black and wearing motorcycle helmets entering the store near Anthem Way and Gavilan Peak Parkway.

One of the suspects appears to point a gun at people inside the store, while the other uses a hammer to smash display case glass.

Deputies responded to the store around 6 p.m. and found one gunshot victim.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and was in critical but stable condition as of Wednesday, MCSO said.

No other information was made available.

Anybody with information about the case was asked to call MCSO at 602-876-1011 and reference report #IR22-018175.
