Dutch Bros Coffee opening first location in Avondale on Thursday

PHOENIX — Dutch Bros Coffee is growing its presence in the West Valley, opening its first location in Avondale on Thursday.

The drive-thru coffee shop’s newest spot will be located near Avondale Boulevard and Van Buren Street.

The location will be open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

“We love being part of the Avondale community and we’re stoked for this new shop,” Caleb Berkey, franchisee of Dutch Bros Avondale, said in a press release.

Dutch Bros has seven other locations in the West Valley, with a shop in Surprise that is scheduled to open soon.

Locations are also supposed to open soon in Glendale, Phoenix and Mesa.

In total, Dutch Bros operates more than 30 coffee shops in metro Phoenix.

Dutch Bros serves specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes, teas, its exclusive Blue Rebel energy drink and nitrogen-infused cold brew coffee.
