PHOENIX — A 33-year-old man is dead following a dispute with his neighbor over a noise complaint at an apartment in Phoenix, authorities said Monday.

Nicasio Yzagere was shot after he and another man both came out of their residences with a gun around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday near Ocotillo Road and Black Canyon Highway, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

Officers found Yzagere inside an apartment and transported him to the hospital, where he died, authorities said.

The man who was identified by witnesses as the shooter was taken into custody without incident and cooperated with the investigation, Phoenix police said.

No arrests were made in the shooting but an investigation was ongoing, authorities said.
