PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Home and Garden Show will take place in Scottsdale this weekend, offering people a chance to shop for hundreds of home improvement, design and landscaping products and services.

The largest home show in the southwest begins Friday and runs through Sunday at WestWorld of Scottsdale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, according to a press release.

A full exhibitor list of those scheduled to be in attendance can be viewed online.

General admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 3 to 12. Children age 2 and younger are free. There are also various other discounts on admission, including mom and kids who arrive together getting in free on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon in honor of Mother’s Day.

The full list of promotions can be found here.

Among the attractions of the show is DEA’s luxurious Dream Closet, which features shelves lined with 100 pairs of designer shoes. People who guess which pair is their size and it fits will be able to take the pair home for free, according to the release.

There will also be free crafts for mothers and children in celebration of Mother’s Day, DIY demos and shop-educated seminars, free landscape consultation and take-home design with landscaping professionals, ask a master gardener and other learning opportunities.

“For the first time at the Home Show we’re having two handmade headquarters,” Katie Jones, show manager, said in the release.

“It’s Mother’s Day weekend and we thought it’d be special to include mom and me activities.”

Parking onsite is $10 cash only and a large food court will also be available.

We want to hear from you.
