Phoenix police investigate homicide that left a 21-year-old man dead

PHOENIX– Phoenix police are conducting an investigation after a shooting left a 21-year-old man dead early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area near Greenway Road and 35th Avenue at 1 a.m. where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Zyion Parker succumbed to his wounds at the scene of the crime.

No more information was made available and the investigation is ongoing.
