PHOENIX – Police on Wednesday released images and a description of a possible suspect in a late-night shooting in Old Town Scottsdale over the weekend.

The suspect was described as a Black male of medium build with long black hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, red jacket, jeans and black shoes.

Officers responded to the scene of the shooting around 2 a.m. Sunday and saw multiple vehicles and people fleeing the area, police said.

Police found one person with gunshot injuries and rendered aid. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
