PHOENIX — It’s time for downtown Glendale to once again transform into one of the most famous European cities as the annual Paris in the Spring event is set for Saturday.

The event brings all things French to Glendale at the Catlin Court Historic District from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with fashion shows, shopping, artisan displays, photo ops and other activities.

Consider yourself a shopper? Paris in the Spring is just the event to discover the boutiques and shops throughout the Old Towne Districts.

Foodies will also be welcomed with delicious food from iconic eateries.

“Our locally-owned shops and restaurants look forward to kicking off the spring season with a French flavor in historic downtown Glendale,” Lorraine Zomok, president of the Historic Downtown Glendale Merchants Association, said in a press release.

While event-goers pass through Catlin Court, they can create their own Historic Downtown Glendale charm bracelet as they travel from shop to shop.

Starter bracelets can be purchased for $5 at Glendale Flowers and Gifts, then people can follow the Charm Trail map to get additional charms at more than 30 shops for $2 each.

Charms at each shop will show the unique qualities of the business, while a special Paris in the Spring charm will also be available.

You can start your Paris in the Spring journey at the Arizona Information Center located at Memory Lane Trinkets and Treasures to receive a walking map and activity list.
