Ostrich Festival in Chandler announces stacked list of artists for its return this month

PHOENIX — The Ostrich Festival in Chandler is returning in a big way this month with a packed list of artists that will grace the stage as the event expands to two weekends for the first time.

The 32nd annual event, which had been postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, takes place at Tumbleweed Park at 745 E Germann Rd. on March 11-13 and 17-20.

Tickets can be purchased online with general admission for adults being $20, excluding March 17 when the price is $15. General admission for children are $5 less than adult tickets. VIP admission and parking passes are also available.

The first weekend gets underway with Uncle Kracker at 7:30 p.m., followed by The Band Perry at 9:30 p.m.

Country artist Walker Hayes follows on Saturday at 9:30 p.m., while rapper Flo Rida concludes the first weekend on Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

The second weekend gets underway on Thursday for St. Patrick’s Day with The Spazmatics at 8:30 p.m.

The Beach Boys follows on Friday at 9:30 p.m., with multiple Grammy-winning artist Nelly taking the stage Saturday at 9:45 p.m.

The event concludes on Sunday with the Four Tops at 8 p.m. and the Temptation at 9:15 p.m.

Other things to enjoy at the festival are rides like the Zipper, Giant Wheel and Wave Swinger, along with various food options.

The Ostrich Festival got its start back in 1988 as a way to celebrate the city’s history of ostrich ranching, according to the official website.
