PHOENIX — Babbo Italian Eatery is expanding in metro Phoenix with plans to open a location in Goodyear in April.

The Italian restaurant’s first foray into the West Valley city will debut April 7, according to a press release.

The 6,000-square-foot space at McDowell Road and Pebble Creek Parkway can seat 236 guests and will feature outdoor seating with a fireplace, a full bar and a private dining room that can hold up to 75 guests.

The menu will have a mix of traditional Italian dishes and new choices, including chicken chipotle pasta and wild mushroom spaghettini.

Babbo will be hosting a special event on its opening day in Goodyear and at its other seven metro Phoenix locations.

All profits on April 7 will go to the Seena Magowitz Foundation, which focuses on pancreatic cancer education and prevention.

Donations can also be made online.

Babbo first opened in Glendale in 2002 and also has locations in Queen Creek, Cave Creek, Scottsdale, Mesa, Surprise and Phoenix.
