Woman driving motorcycle dies in collision with U-Haul truck in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A woman driving a motorcycle died after a collision with a U-Haul truck in west Phoenix on Wednesday evening, authorities said.

The truck was making a left turn from Indian School Road to northbound 87th Avenue when it hit the motorcycle around 6 p.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release Thursday.

The motorcycle operator, 45-year-old Karry Herrera, was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.
