Zoppé Italian Family Circus back in town at Rawhide in Chandler

Dec 10, 2021, 3:00 PM | Updated: 3:01 pm

PHOENIX – The Zoppé Italian Family Circus is back in town this month with a series of family-friendly performances in Chandler.

The 179-year-old troupe is scheduled for 18 shows on eight dates from Friday to Dec. 19 at Rawhide Western Town and Event Center (5700 W. North Loop Road, near Wild Horse Pass).

The one-ring circus takes place inside a round tent, with trapeze artists, clowns, aerial hoops, contortionists, jugglers, fire dancers and more.

Tickets run $30 for first-come, first-served general admission seating and $60 for VIP treatment, which comes with cushioned seats in the first two rows around the ring. Kids 3 and under who sit on a paying adult’s lap are free.

For an extra $10, attendees can get a wristband to enjoy the Rawhide Snowy Christmas event, which takes place Friday and Saturday nights through Dec. 18.

Circus tickets can also be used to get $5 off an $18 Rawhide Snowy Christmas attractions wristband on a different visit.

Zoppé came to town about a year ago with a drive-in version of its show — with COVID-19 protocols approved by the city of Tempe – at Big Surf.

We want to hear from you.
