The Pick lottery ticket sold at Walmart in Surprise hits $8.8 million jackpot

PHOENIX — If you bought a ticket for Wednesday night’s The Pick lottery drawing in the West Valley, you’ll want to check those numbers.

The Arizona Lottery said Friday the winning ticket worth $8.8 million was sold at a Walmart at Waddell Road, west of Loop 303 in Surprise.

The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were 11, 12, 16, 21, 39 and 44.

Thirteen other participants of The Pick won $2,000, 650 won $50 and almost 11,000 won $3.

The Arizona winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this story incorrectly said The Pick jackpot was worth $6.3 million.
