Man arrested for firing at police responding to domestic violence incident

PHOENIX — Phoenix police have arrested a 28-year-old man after being called to a domestic violence incident that resulted in a patrol vehicle being struck with a bullet.
According to a release, police responded to the area near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road and learned that a man had fired several gunshots into the air.
Police said that the suspect fired multiple shots in their direction with one of the shots hitting a patrol vehicle.
The man was taken into custody with “less than lethal force” and brought to a hospital for injuries.
There were no other injuries suffered in the incident.
