FBI arrests woman who allegedly robbed 4 metro Phoenix banks

PHOENIX — The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested a suspect accused of robbing four metro Phoenix banks in September and October.
Taylor Stewart, 27, was taken into custody Oct. 14 in connection with the robberies that allegedly began Sept. 23 and ended the day before her arrest, the FBI said in a statement.
Stewart was said to target two banks in the East Valley and in Scottsdale, stopping by two Chase Banks, one US Bank and one Desert Financial Credit Union.
Here are the dates and cities of the alleged robberies:
• Sept. 23, Mesa
• Oct. 4, Mesa
• Oct. 9, Scottsdale
• Oct. 13, Tempe
Authorities said Stewart would enter the bank and pass a demand note suggesting she was armed, then fled the scene.
Nobody was injured during the robberies, the FBI said.
