PHOENIX – A man, a woman and a teenager have been arrested for three unrelated weekend homicides in Phoenix, authorities said Tuesday.

The first incident occurred around 1 p.m. Saturday near 10th Street and Buckeye Road after a verbal altercation led to gunfire, the Phoenix Police Department said.

Morion Collins, 23, was booked on one count of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 40-year-old Tyrone Thompson in that case, police said.

In the second incident, 27-year-old Dallas Summers was killed and another man was critically injured in a shooting near 44th and Van Buren streets around 5 a.m. Sunday.

Ebony Willis, 25, was booked on counts of first-degree murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault in that case.

The third shooting occurred around 1:40 p.m. Sunday near Cave Creek Road and Greenway Parkway. A 16-year-old boy was killed after leaving a party, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was booked for second-degree murder in the case. Police didn’t release the suspect’s name because he is a minor.
