PHOENIX — Phoenix’s Desert Botanical Garden announced last week that Dale Chihuly will be bringing his glass art exhibition to the Valley.

The exhibition will showcase his world-known glass art in large scale installments starting Dec. 3, through June 18, 2022, according to a press release.

“Chihuly in the Desert” will be featured at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West in Scottsdale.

“Chihuly and Frank Lloyd Wright, two American originals taking inspiration from the country’s unique physical and cultural landscapes, are a perfect fit at Taliesin West,” Stuart Graff, president and CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, said in the release.

Chihuly’s art is featured in over 200 museums and has mounted work at six different gardens around the world, according to the release.

Tickets for Chihuly in the Desert go on sale Oct. 4.

“With our World Heritage buildings and mountainous desert backdrop, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation presents its first exhibition of this kind, revealing how art, architecture and nature come together to connect our visitors more deeply with the world around them,” Graff said.
