4 Valley cities ranked among the top 20 best places to rent in the country

PHOENIX — A personal finance website ranked four Valley cities among the top 20 best places to rent in the country.
WalletHub placed Scottsdale at the No. 12 spot on the list, followed by Gilbert (No. 14), Chandler (No. 18) and Peoria (No. 20).
The website compared the 150 most populated U.S. cities, along with at least two of the most populated cities in each state, on rental market and affordability as well as the quality of life.
Quality of life metrics included city satisfaction, weather, quality of the public school system and safety.
Scottsdale was found to have the third-best quality of life in the country.
The Valley is one of the better places to rent in the country, according to the website, as Glendale (No. 35) and Mesa (No. 40) also cracked the top 50.
Tempe came in at No. 54, while Phoenix was ranked No. 62.
Tucson, meanwhile, was placed in the No. 29 spot on the ranking.
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was found to be the best place in the country to rent, driven by having the best rental market and affordability.
Huntington, West Virginia, was ranked as the worst place in the country to rent as the city ranked in the lower-third for both categories.
