PHOENIX — Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey received a poor approval rating in a website’s poll.
According to a Public Policy Polling article, only 27 percent of voters who participated in the poll approve of the job Ducey is doing. In contrast, 44 percent disapprove.
In particular, Democrats and Independents unsurprisingly gave Ducey the most unforgiving marks, while his fellow Republicans appeared far more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
However, the poll also showed Ducey’s approval rating is similar to the 26/41 favorability rating found for him just prior to the GOP primary in 2014, demonstrating that Ducey still has his fair share of detractors within his own party.
