PHOENIX — HelloFresh announced plans Thursday to open its largest distribution center in Phoenix by the end of 2021.
The nearly 440,000-square-foot facility located at 1850 S. 71st Ave. could provide as many as 1,200 jobs and will become the meal kit company’s largest shipping and fulfillment center globally.
Joining HelloFresh’s other facility in Richmond, California, the new distribution center will allow HelloFresh to strengthen its West Coast capabilities.
“HelloFresh selecting Greater Phoenix for their largest global production and distribution facility is a testament to our region’s infrastructure, connectivity and talent pool; and ability to meet the needs of industry giants,” Chris Camacho, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, said in the release.
“A marquee name and sector leader, HelloFresh will continue to create an abundance of job opportunities for our residents and we look forward to being a partner in their continued success. “
