6 children ejected from vehicle, 1 dead in crash on I-10 in Arizona

PHOENIX — Six children were ejected from a vehicle and one died during a three-car collision on Interstate 10 near Tonopah on Monday evening.
Authorities said the crash, which occurred at about 5 p.m., caused one car to roll over in the median of the highway and killed a 10-year-old girl.
The children, who are between the ages of 14 and 10, were transported to a Phoenix-area hospital by helicopter with serious injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Westbound I-10 were closed in the aftermath of the crash.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
There was no additional information available.
