Police search for suspect after teen boy shot, killed in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are seeking information after a teen boy was killed in a shooting late Sunday night, according to authorities.
Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Bethany Home Road and 35th Avenue in Phoenix just before midnight and found 16-year-old Steven Baptisto-Mahle with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
