PHOENIX — Indiana-based Trine University has received the green light to build an education center inside the Maricopa County Medical Society Building in Phoenix.
The university will offer hybrid courses that provide masters degrees in business administration, science in engineering management, science in information services and in business analytics, according to a university release.
The courses will be largely held virtually, with students meeting once a week on Saturday or Sunday.
The building, located between Third and Seventh streets in midtown Phoenix, offers students an efficient way of continuing their education, Trine University graduate school director Brittini Heiden said in the release.
“This will offer our students an extremely efficient, convenient way to have one-on-one instruction and interactions with their faculty members throughout the term,” she said.
Trine University operates a similar education center setup in Detroit, with the main campus of the university located in Angola, Indiana.
The university also operated an educational center in Peoria between 2012 and 2017.
