PHOENIX — People couldn’t wait to get back on the slopes as Arizona Snowbowl day tickets sold out quickly in its first week.

After the first two days of the season sold out, the organization said Wednesday that all-day tickets are sold out through Saturday.

More tickets may be released depending on actual capacity, however, with all access to the mountain being a first-come, first-serve basis.

Once capacity is reached, vehicles will be allowed up Snowbowl Road as people who arrived earlier in the day depart.

Updates on Sunday lift ticket availability, capacity, road and weather conditions can be found on the Arizona Snowbowl Updates Twitter page.

Lift tickets for next week start at $39.

Arizona Snowbowl in the email said three inches of snow fell midway up the mountain overnight on Thursday and snowmaking continues.

More chairlifts and terrain will open when conditions allow, according to the email.

Arizona Snowbowl opened for the season on Nov. 20 with coronavirus restrictions in place, such as requiring face coverings unless eating or drinking.
