PHOENIX – Another Fry’s Marketplace location will open in Gilbert next month, the company announced Tuesday.

The 127,000-square-foot location at Williams Field and Recker roads will open Nov. 4.

The location will feature a cheese shop, sushi station, a grab-and-go area with pre-packaged sandwiches, and soups from Chompie’s and Starbucks in addition to the traditional food and wine selections.

There will also be a pharmacy, apparel and housewares departments, and a gas station.

“All of our associates at the new marketplace store are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors in Gilbert,” Fry’s president Monica Garnes said in a press release.

The grocery store chain opened a Fry’s location at Baseline and Higley roads in the East Valley on Sept. 2.

The store will be managed by Bruce Yeo, who was recognized as a 2019 Store Manager of the Year by the Food Marketing Institute. Yeo has 40 years of grocery experience, including 31 with Fry’s.

We want to hear from you.
